TransInclusive Emergency Crisis Fund (TECF) will provide emergency assistance to TRANSGENDER/GNC individuals in need of essential supporting services. All clients will undergo a interviewing process to determine the severity of their need for TECF. To include but not limited to services below
As of May 25, 2020 the immediate need for COVID-19 emergency assistance has receded. Therefore, TIG will resume conducting individual needs assessments for further assistance, per established protocol of TECF program. Yes, we are still providing emergency assistance within 3 to 5 business days to individuals who qualify. In addition to completing the questionnaire below, we will make an appointment to conduct a phone interview. We will need a copy of a photo ID or any other ID verification and income verification
HRT/LABS/ Prescriptions cost, Hotel/Emergency 2 night max; program will assist with hotel, Utilities Assistance (phone bill, Light bill final notice required, Uber/LYFT/ Bus card/Transportation, Food Assistance, ID/Driver’s license/Birth Certificate, Care packages gift cards, Sliding scale fee assistance.
Services for all Transgender/Gender Non-Conforming Individuals. TransInclusive Group, Inc. reserve all rights to approve or deny for any reason. Assistance to be provided within 72 hours, unless Emergency Hotel stay. Some valid proof of Identity is required, TECF does not discriminate on basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex. (Services provided throughout funding cycle).
