Community Emergency Operations Center (CEOC) Hub

Transinclusive Group is a trusted community-based emergency response and resilience organization serving Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

As a Community Emergency Operations Center (CEOC) Hub, TIG works to ensure women, girls, and gender-expansive people have access to trusted support before, during, and after emergencies.

Through our collaboration with The Smile Trust and its growing CEOC network, TIG is part of a broader, community-led emergency response infrastructure. During a crisis, no organization can do it alone. By sharing information, resources, relationships, volunteers, and community expertise, CEOC Hubs can respond faster, reduce duplication, identify gaps, and connect people to the support they need.

TIG brings trusted community relationships and lived knowledge into this larger coordinated response. Together, we strengthen preparedness, activate mutual aid, support community-led recovery, and help ensure communities often overlooked by traditional emergency systems are not left behind.

The Need

Climate-related emergencies can intensify existing inequities. Hurricanes, extreme heat, flooding, and other disasters can create greater risks for people experiencing housing instability, financial insecurity, healthcare barriers, and social isolation.

The Solution

TIG combines emergency preparedness, mutual aid, health access, resource navigation, and community leadership to create a stronger, more connected response system.

Our Community-Led Model

  • A glass jar filled with coins and a small green plant growing from the coins, placed on a wooden surface against a blurred wooden background.

    Prepare

    Build knowledge, relationships, and readiness.

  • Respond

Activate trusted networks, mutual aid, wellness checks, emergency assistance, and critical information.

  • Recover

Connect people to housing, healthcare, financial assistance, case management, and ongoing support.
